Shoko starts with a line to Utahime with a relaxed tension, but somehow my heart starts pounding from there. Yuji Itadori really isn’t showing up!– is what I thought (lol). This applies to the original too, but I was surprised when it suddenly started in the past, leaving a strong impression on me. –Please tell us what scenes in “Hidden Inventory/Premature Death” are highlights and leave an impression?Įndo: The feeling I got when reading the original is exactly the same as it unfolded in the anime, so I was very happy to act it out. I think their charm is in the feeling that they have the kind of relationship where no matter how many years they’ve not seen each other, when they reunite, they can say, “Yo!” to each other.
But for Gojo and Geto, it must’ve been reassuring to have someone who wouldn’t budge no matter what happened. Even when they’re not around Shoko seems to have fun, and when they’re hanging out they get along well– The teen Shoko, it’s hard to tell whether she’s interested or not in people too, huh? (lol) That doesn’t change much, but I believe she’s thinks about things in her own way. But then, there’s Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto. I think, as a result of experimenting with various approaches, we have the final version of Shoko-san on air.Įndo: Even though it’s the school era, it’s not as if it goes into detail of what happened to her. Honestly, it was difficult to play Shoko backwards from where she is in the present. But I was satisfied enough just testing it out. So it became like, “That’s how it is~” (lol) Because she looks so cute, it made me want to try that.
–What was it like actually playing young Shoko?Įndo: At first, I thought of trying it very lively and cute, but received the direction to leave it a little more languid. It was very rewarding playing the era in which she was being shaped into who she is now. Because it wasn’t of her childhood, her feelings would be closer to that of an adult. And also, it was fun playing the non-adult, young, Ieiri Shoko.
